Free title and meta description generator

Describe what a page is about, give it the keyword it should rank for, and get three title tags and three meta descriptions with their character counts and a Google preview. It writes from your description only, so nothing is invented. It takes a free SEO Stuff account, which is what keeps the bots off it.

What a good title and description do

The title tag is the blue link in Google's results and the first thing an AI assistant reads about the page. It carries weight in ranking, decides the click, and gets cut at roughly 60 characters, so the subject goes first and the brand, if there is room, goes last. The meta description is the grey text under it. It does not move rankings; it moves clicks, and Google uses it when it matches what the person searched for, writing its own when it does not.

The pattern that works for both is the same: the specific thing the page offers, in the words the searcher used, with one reason to choose this result over the nine around it. Numbers, prices, years and audiences are the reasons. Adjectives are not.

How to use the generator

  1. 1

Describe the page in one or two sentences

What it is, who it is for, and the one specific thing on it: a price, a number of steps, a comparison, a result. The output is only as specific as this.

  2. 2

    Give the exact keyword

The query you want the page to rank for, as people type it. The generator puts it near the front of each title and once in each description.

  3. 3

Pick one of each, then edit

The best title is usually the one that sounds like something you would say. Trim it to taste; the counter shows when it still fits.

  4. 4

    Check it against the page

A title that promises more than the page delivers costs you the bounce and, over time, the ranking. If the page does not keep the promise, change the page or the promise.

Titles, descriptions and the rest of the page

A title and a description fix the click; they do not fix a thin page. If the page needs more than new tags, the Content Writing Service delivers twenty articles with their keywords and meta tags written, and the headline analyzer scores any title you write yourself. To see where a page ranks today, the rank checker takes five keywords at a time.

Questions people ask

Is the generator free?

Yes, with a free SEO Stuff account: each generation is a paid call to a language model, and the account keeps bots from running up the bill. Twenty generations a day per account.

How long should a title tag and a meta description be?

Google shows about 50 to 60 characters of a title and about 150 to 160 of a description on desktop, a little less on phones, measured in pixels rather than characters. The generator writes 50 to 60 and 140 to 155, and shows the count next to each so you can see what fits.

Does the meta description affect rankings?

Not directly; Google has said so for years. It affects clicks, which is what a ranking is for. A description that states the specific thing the page offers wins against one that says "welcome to our website" every time, and Google is more likely to show your description rather than write its own when it matches the query.

Why does Google change my title?

Google rewrites titles it judges as too long, stuffed with keywords, boilerplate, or mismatched to the page. A title that names the page's subject in the first few words, in plain language, is the one most likely to be shown as written.

Can I generate for a page that does not exist yet?

Yes. Describe what it will say. The generator does not invent facts, so what it writes is only as specific as your description; put the real benefit, number or audience in the description and it will show up in the titles.

Where do I put these?

In the page's <title> tag and the meta description tag in the head. In WordPress, the SEO plugin's title and description fields; in Shopify, the "search engine listing" section of the page or product; in Next.js or any custom site, the Head component. One title and one description per page.
