Roundup

The best AI visibility tools in 2026, with prices

An AI visibility tool runs a list of prompts through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the rest on a schedule and reports whether your brand is mentioned, whether your pages are cited, and who is named instead. There are now a dozen of them, priced from $29 a month to custom enterprise contracts, and the marketing makes them sound alike. They are not: they differ on which engines they cover, how many prompts you can track, whether users are counted, and, most of all, on whether anyone does anything with the findings.

This roundup compares nine, with every price read on the vendor's own pricing page on the date in the sources. Two of the nine are from the SEO Stuff team and are labelled; they are included because the question people ask after a month with a tracker is who will do the work, and that is what those two sell.

How to choose

Four questions settle it. Which engines do your buyers use (ChatGPT and Google's AI features for almost everyone; Perplexity, Claude and Gemini depending on the audience)? How many prompts matter (twenty for most single brands; hundreds for a portfolio)? Who will look at the dashboard every week? And who will write the pages and earn the placements it says are missing? The first three pick a tracker. The fourth decides whether you need one at all.

What to compare on

  • Engines covered, and which cost extra
  • Prompts and users included at the price
  • Whether anyone does the fixing

Profound

An enterprise AI visibility platform: prompt tracking across up to nine answer engines, Prompt Volumes, Agent Analytics and an AI Marketer agent that researches and writes from the data.

The enterprise instrument: up to nine engines, Prompt Volumes, Agent Analytics, unlimited seats and a custom price. For a portfolio of brands with a reporting line to leadership.

Where it shines

  • The widest engine coverage of the trackers, including DeepSeek and Exa
  • Prompt Volumes and Agent Analytics, which the cheaper trackers lack or charge for
  • Built for teams: unlimited seats, SSO, dedicated support, API

Where it does not

  • No published price; you talk to sales for anything beyond the trial
  • A dashboard, not a service: it shows what to fix, and the fixing is your team's job
  • Overkill for a business with one brand and a few dozen prompts

Price: No published price. A free 7-day trial runs 50 prompts a day across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; the Enterprise plan is custom, with unlimited seats, up to nine engines, all-time history, exports and API. Third-party roundups have quoted $99 and $399 a month for self-serve tiers that Profound's pricing page no longer shows. Source, checked October 9, 2026.

Peec AI

A Berlin-built AI visibility tracker that pitches "analytics your team will actually enjoy using": daily tracking of a fixed prompt set across a few models, with unlimited users on every plan.

The mid-range favourite: daily tracking from $95 a month, three models, unlimited users, agency workspaces. The easiest tracker to justify for one brand.

Where it shines

  • Unlimited users on every plan, which the per-seat tools charge for
  • Daily tracking and a sensible prompt count at the entry price
  • Agency plans with per-client workspaces

Where it does not

  • Three models on the standard plans; more cost extra
  • Tracks and reports; the content and placements are still on you
  • Prompt counts are fixed per tier, so a large category means the Advanced plan

Price: Starter $95 a month (50 prompts, 3 models, 1 project), Pro $245 (150 prompts, 2 projects), Advanced $495 (350 prompts, 5 projects, multi-country, Looker Studio). Agency plans $245, $495 and $795. Enterprise custom, up to 13 models. Annual billing is 15% less. Prices read on October 7, 2026; the pricing page now loads them dynamically. Scrunch AI

An AI visibility platform "built specifically for AI search and agent ecosystems": prompt tracking across the major assistants plus personas and page audits that say what to change.

The mid-market platform: seven platforms on every plan, industry prompt sets, personas and page audits, from $300 a month. Seats counted.

Where it shines

  • Industry prompt sets on top of your own, so you see the category, not only your list
  • Page audits that turn findings into changes
  • Seven platforms including Claude and Meta on every plan

Where it does not

  • Seats are counted: 3 on Starter, 5 on Growth
  • $300 a month is the floor; nothing cheaper for a small business
  • Audits tell you what to change; someone still has to change it

Price: Starter $300 a month month-to-month or $250 billed annually (350 custom prompts plus 1,000 industry prompts, 3 personas, 5 page audits, 3 users), Growth $500 or $417 annually (700 custom and 2,500 industry prompts, 5 personas, 10 audits, 5 users), Enterprise custom with SSO and a data API. Annual billing is 17% less. Source, checked October 9, 2026.

Otterly AI

The cheapest entry into AI search tracking: daily monitoring of a small prompt set across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with other engines as paid add-ons.

The cheapest start: $29 a month for 15 prompts on four engines; $189 for a working set. Claude, Gemini and AI Mode as add-ons.

Where it shines

  • $29 a month gets a real tracker running the same day
  • Unlimited team members on every plan
  • GEO page audits, API and agent analytics on Standard and up

Where it does not

  • 15 prompts on Lite is a sample, not a category; the useful plans start at $189
  • The engines most people ask about next (Claude, Gemini, AI Mode) cost extra
  • No help with the content or the placements

Price: Lite $29 a month (15 prompts), Standard $189 (100 prompts), Premium $489 (400 prompts), Enterprise custom from 1,000 prompts. Annual billing about 15% less ($25, $160 and $422). Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are add-ons from $9 to $439 a month depending on plan; 100 extra prompts are $99 a month. Source, checked October 9, 2026.

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit

Semrush's add-on for AI answers: an AI Visibility Score, share of voice and sentiment for your brand, with prompt tracking on Google AI Mode and ChatGPT and an AI Search Health check in Site Audit.

For Semrush subscribers: $99 a month for an AI Visibility Score, share of voice and prompt tracking on ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. Two engines, per-user licences.

Where it shines

  • Cheap entry if you only need two engines and one domain
  • Sits next to the SEO data a Semrush team already uses
  • The AI Search Health check catches crawler-blocking problems

Where it does not

  • Two engines; no Perplexity, Gemini or Claude
  • Per-user and per-domain pricing adds up quickly
  • Tracking only

Price: $99 a month for one project and one domain; each extra domain is $99 a month, 50 extra prompts are $60 a month, and every teammate needs their own $99 licence. No free trial. Semrush One bundles it with the SEO toolkit from $199 a month. Source, checked October 9, 2026.

Ahrefs Brand Radar

Ahrefs' AI visibility add-on: mentions, citations and share of voice for a brand across Google's AI features and the major chat assistants, on top of the Ahrefs index.

For Ahrefs subscribers: Brand Radar from $199 a month on top of an Ahrefs plan, with the Ahrefs index behind the citations.

Where it shines

  • Mentions and citations next to the backlink and ranking data you already use
  • The Ahrefs index behind it, so you can see which pages assistants cite
  • Share of voice against a competitor set

Where it does not

  • Needs an Ahrefs subscription first, so the real floor is about $330 a month
  • Less prompt-level control than the dedicated trackers
  • Tracking only

Price: An add-on to an Ahrefs subscription from $199 a month, on top of Ahrefs plans from $129 a month (Lite). Read on October 7, 2026. Source, checked October 7, 2026.

AirOps

A platform for "AI discovery" that combines content agents, brand data and governance with a hands-on strategy team; it began as a content-workflow tool and now sells the strategy alongside the software.

Not a tracker so much as a content platform with a strategy team and AI-search insights built in. For teams whose bottleneck is production. No published prices.

Where it shines

  • Content production at volume: research, write, publish and refresh workflows with brand governance
  • A strategy team you work with, which none of the pure trackers offer
  • Reporting it ties to pipeline and revenue rather than a visibility score

Where it does not

  • No published pricing, and usage-based billing is hard to forecast
  • Visibility tracking is a feature of a content platform, not the product
  • Built for teams producing content continuously; a one-off project is not its shape

Price: No plan prices are published. Solo and Pro both "start for free"; Solo is priced by usage with a $0.025-per-task overage and tracks ChatGPT only, Pro adds unlimited seats and insights across "7+ answer engines", and Enterprise is quoted and adds onsite, offsite, social and community sources. Rightcited

Weekly checks of 50 buyer questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, with the fixes done rather than charted: wrong facts corrected at the source, missing pages written, citations earned. From the SEO Stuff team.

From the SEO Stuff team. The monitoring with the fixing: weekly checks of 50 buyer questions across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, corrections and pages done, $499 a brand a month.

Where it shines

  • The only option here that does the fixing, not only the finding
  • Weekly cadence on a question set chosen for buyers, not a keyword export
  • Month to month, no annual contract

Where it does not

  • Four engines; no Google AI Overviews line in the weekly check
  • One brand per plan; agencies pay per brand
  • Not a self-serve dashboard for exploring prompts on your own

Price: Core $499 per brand per month, month to month, with a free 360° scan to start and a $2.99 AI Page Check for a single page. Source, checked October 7, 2026.

SEO Stuff Done-For-You Package

Not a tracker: a fixed-price service that gets a business cited. A baseline of 20 buyer questions across four assistants, an audit and strategy guide within 7 business days, 10 pages written to be cited, 3 DR50+ placements, a dashboard and an after-report, delivered in 21 business days.

From the SEO Stuff team, and not a tracker: the pages and placements themselves, with a before-and-after on twenty buyer questions, for $999 once. The option for a business that wants the result rather than the instrument.

Where it shines

  • The content and the placements are delivered, not recommended
  • One price, a delivery date, and you own the output
  • A before-and-after on the same questions, so you can see what moved

Where it does not

  • Not an ongoing dashboard; for weekly monitoring afterwards, the same team runs Rightcited
  • Twenty questions in the baseline, not hundreds of prompts
  • A one-off engagement; large catalogs add the content bundle

Price: $999 one time. Nothing renews; the pages and placements are yours. Research credits for do-it-yourself keyword and backlink work are separate: 400 for $49 or 3,000 for $99, bought once. Source, checked October 9, 2026.

Questions people ask

What is an AI visibility tool?

Software that runs a set of prompts through AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and others) on a schedule and reports whether your brand is mentioned, whether your pages are cited, who is named instead, and how that changes over time. Some add sentiment, share of voice, modelled prompt volumes and AI-crawler analytics.

Which AI visibility tool is cheapest?

Otterly AI at $29 a month for 15 prompts. Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit is $99 a month for Semrush users. Peec AI starts at $95. Checked October 2026.

Which covers the most AI assistants?

Profound, with up to nine engines on its Enterprise plan; Scrunch covers seven on every plan. Otterly reaches similar coverage with paid add-ons; Peec's standard plans include three models.

Do I need an AI visibility tool before doing anything?

No. A baseline of twenty buyer questions asked of four assistants, recorded in a spreadsheet, tells a single brand what a tracker would, once. SEO Stuff runs that baseline at the start of every Done-For-You order and again at the end. A tracker earns its subscription when the question set is large, the markets are several, or the cadence has to be weekly.

Which option does the work rather than tracking it?

SEO Stuff's Done-For-You Package ($999 once) delivers the pages and placements; Rightcited ($499 a brand a month) does weekly checks with the fixes included. Both from the SEO Stuff team. AirOps pairs a content platform with a strategy team at an unpublished price.
